The Trusted Information Security Assessment Exchange (TISAX) is operated and governed by ENX Association. TISAX was created to enable commonly accepted assessments based on the VDA ISA control catalogue conducted by trustworthy competing audit providers. VDA is the German Association of the Automotive Industry (German: Verband der Automobilindustrie). The VDA represents carmakers including BMW, Volkswagen, and Mercedes-Benz parent Daimler but also counts foreign suppliers and foreign-owned carmakers like Opel among its members. The group is located in Berlin, Germany.
The Information Security Assessment (ISA) was conducted according to the TISAX Standard Scope 2016. The standard scope comprises all processes and involved resources at Optimum Info’s Irvine California main office location that are subject to security requirements from partners in the automotive industry. Involved processes and resources include collection of information, storage of information and processing of information.
