Job Summary

The Business Analyst will assume responsibilities and work as a liaison with Optimum’s automotive clients helping them implement and manage our Business Management and other Network Development solutions. The responsibility will span across US & Canada and will require interaction with customers and their dealers. The job will be based in Irvine, CA.

The Business Analyst will work closely with our customers and dealers to help them effectively use Optimum’s Business Management system. This will include providing guidance on various tools and features of the system, generating analytical reports, analyzing dealer performance, etc.

Job Duties:

  • Work closely with Optimum’s customers to help them effectively utilize our system. Our systems are used by Corporate, Field and Dealer users.
  • Provide consistent training and guidance on various application features & analysis tools.
  • Review the quality and consistency of financial statements received from dealerships.
  • Provide periodic online training to dealers and other users of the system.
  • Develop requirement specifications for customer-specific performance dashboards, financial reports and other business requirements.
  • Develop help documentation for client communication and internal documentation.
  • Coordinate with the engineering team on any new system functionality.
  • Test new features and reports before & after system deployments.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) disciplines.
  • 1 - 2 years of Financial Analysis experience with overall 2 - 4 years of experience.
  • Automotive industry experience will be beneficial.
  • Must be proficient in MS Office tools like MS Excel, PowerPoint and MS Project.
